Can dogs eat strawberry?

The short answer is: YES! Your dog can absolutely eat strawberries!

As we all know, strawberries are rich in fibre and vitamin C. But, did you know that strawberries also contain Fisetin?

What is fisetin? Fisetin is a plant-based compound that has strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. You can also call it "the fountain of youth" because it has anti-aging properties too! It kills senescent cells without harming healthy, normal cells. Fisetin also protects the heart and nervous system. Can you believe all of this comes from a little strawberry?!

So, why do some blog posts say NO, YOU CANNOT FEED YOUR DOGS STRAWBERRIES? This common misconception is because too many green leafy strawberry stems can upset your dog's digestion and cause an upset stomach. So, the solution? Remove the green stems and feed only the flesh of the strawberry :)

Of course, with any treat, always feed in moderation!
