DIY FeedMyPaws Recipe: Easter Egg Family!

Hi everyone!

Today we're doing a very simple 3 ingredient Easter Egg Recipe! This recipe is perfect for everyone in the family! I wanted to come up with something that was fun to do (kids will love making their own little chickys!), yummy to eat (furkid approved!), and easy to bring along for a weekend picnic (long weekend, yay!).

You can pack the eyes, beak, and feet separately and bring them along to your picnic for everyone to have fun designing their own little Easter family!

Here's what you'll need:

  • Hard boiled eggs
  • Nori (seaweed) but you can also substitute with black sesame seeds, watermelon seeds (probably should remove this before giving it to your furkid), or even cooked black beans!
  • Carrot or any kind of hard vegetable (if you're using raw pumpkin or sweet potato as part of your decor, I recommend removing those and giving them a quick steam before feeding it to your furkid)

I used a hole puncher for the nori to get the round eyes (I was lazy haha!) but you can just use a pair of scissors if you don't have a hole puncher :)

For those you whose furkids are on a diet, give them just the egg white :)

For humans, we highly recommend eating these with a spicy mayonnaise dip! Just mix a little chilli sauce with mayonnaise and you're good to go ;) Happy Easter!!
