Feed My Paws is 11!
Today, we’re celebrating a truly special milestone—11 years of Feed My Paws! I can't believe it's been 11 years since I started Feed My Paws. Has it really been over a decade?! It’s been an incredible journey filled with love, dedication, and lots of treats. From humble beginnings at home to the bustling bakery we are today, every step of this adventure has been a testament to the joy and love we share with our furry friends.
It all started with a simple idea and a big love for furkids. Our very first treats were homemade in our own kitchen, crafted with the hope of creating healthier, tastier options for our own pets. Little did we know that these early batches would spark something much bigger.
Packaging Through the Years – A Transformation Our packaging has gone through many changes over the years! Looking back, it’s amazing to see how far we’ve come, from our hand-labeled bags to the vibrant, eye-catching packaging that represents Feed My Paws today. Each design change tells a story of growth and creativity. Even our logos have gone through changes through the years! What started as a bakery just for dogs and cats, has since incorporated the littlest furkids- hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, and chinchillas too!
The Cake Journey – From Humble Beginnings to Works of Art One of the most incredible parts of this journey has been mastering the art of cake-making for furkids. Back in 2013 and 2014, pet bakery classes didn’t exist—there was no roadmap, no tutorials, just a lot of trial and error! My first cakes were far from perfect, but each one was a learning experience. Looking back at those early photos, I can see how far Feed My Paws has come. Today, each cake is a work of art, crafted with love and skill, and seeing furkids enjoy them is truly rewarding.
Timeless Treats – The Originals That Still Shine Today It’s amazing to look back and see that some of the treats created in the very first days of Feed My Paws—way back in 2013 and 2014—are still part of our lineup today! These recipes have stood the test of time and continue to be fan favourites and bestsellers. Knowing that these treats have brought joy to furkids for over a decade is truly special and reminds us why we do what we do.
Sharing the Love – From Recipe Sharing to Hands-On Workshops In the early days, I loved sharing recipes and techniques with fellow pet parents and bakers. This passion led to workshops where I could teach others how to make their own treats for their furkids. While these workshops were incredibly rewarding, they also took a great deal of time and energy to prepare. As Feed My Paws has grown, I've shifted my focus back to creating treats, but I look back on those workshops fondly, knowing they sparked a lot of joy and inspiration.
As we celebrate 11 years, we want to thank each and every one of you for being part of Feed My Paws. Your support, encouragement, and love have made this journey unforgettable, and we can’t wait to continue bringing joy to you and your pets for many years to come!
